Fogged:

SK: “Questioning reality is normal, it happens. You start thinking if all this is real or is just a dream, and when you try to look at the reality you get blinded from that bright visionary light…too warm for your eyes and too cold to give you an answer. This short creative portrait photography project is composed of self-portraits and a landscape image as it connects with the story and aesthetic. There are 2 ways to look at this project, you can start from the portrait or the landscape. I captured these photos during my 2 weeks of self-isolation with my family, as my mother had Covid-19. In these 2 weeks of self-isolation, I started questioning reality, as time passed slowly and my mental health was slowly getting damaged day by day. Nothing felt real, it was like I was living in an endless dream. As my mental health was not one of the best, I did think about doing something I love to make me feel a bit better therefore I picked up my camera and set it up on a tripod and tried to capture how I was feeling during those 2 weeks of self-isolation. I tried to use the I trick I did experiment with a couple of times to create a foggy dream effect to showcase to the audience how lost I felt and to also document my personal experience with Covid-19.”
